  I was greeted cordially by the employee, who introduced himself as Dale, and of course I gave him my name as well. Nonetheless, we got down to business in a matter of seconds. He recognized my name right away from having checked the online purchases already, and dropped the item (a card with four small but important batteries on it) into my hand. Elapsed time: 15 seconds. Next phase: my salesperson (hereinafter referred to as DALE), deftly removes another item from a spinner, and proceeds to demo it while telling me "Yeah, the millennials are snapping these babies up. We can hardly keep 'em in stock, they're so popular." All right, I'm curious; the articles in question are relatively inexpensive (about seven bucks), small, cute, and rather useful. What are they, anyway? It turns out that the little gadgets are small keychain flashlights: magnetic, removable from the keychain, made by NEBO (I already have a couple of their products, but nothing this attractive), and – outstanding selling point, particularly if your customer hasn't decided one way or the other – they have a pop-up lantern feature that's to die for! I I'm sold, and the only reason I didn't snap it up right then was that I didn't want to look like a pushover, you know what I mean? Anyway, I promise my representative that I will be back tomorrow with the purchase price in hand. I tell myself that I should discuss this extravagant expenditure with my girlfriend, as any mature individual would do. But the truth is that I'm hooked, and I have already earmarked that money for this appealing little whatchamacallit. Check your website tomorrow, and see if I haven't posted another review.
