  This is a fairly high-end mall which has recently undergone massive upgrades and changes. I'm going to speak to what it's been like in my experience, but keep in mind that things may change. First off is this mall is fairly high end, with a lot of 'rich' people (and college students) flocking to it daily. It's not uncommon then to see terrible parking, to see lack of parking, or to see cars more expensive than your bank account there. No worries, though. They definitely have been revamping parking, and I haven't seen as many issues recently. Then you walk into the mall from any entrance, and you are greeted with places to sit, stylish looking shades, and depending on your entrance location, art, fountains, or stands between the shops. At the center, there is a food court and an ice rink. This mall is fairly crowded, and it is designed in a way to make it look like you're not walking much, even if you're walking a lot. So if there aren't many people, it's great for a late night walk. When I lived close by, I used to like to walk here around midnight. Felt very safe, and was well lit. There are a variety of shops, there is a playground for children, and there's tons of places to eat, so this is a good hangout spot, a good shopping spot, a good place to reconnect, and a good place to meet that guy you met on OK Cupid for the first time.

  The renovated Westfield UTC is great! So glad that we now have an alternative to Fashion Valley for fine dine and shop. The grounds are gorgeous and spacious and the new stores and eateries give us more options. Can't wait for the Empanadas shop to open in March. Only 'no no' is that they will soon start charging for parking. Really??? We already leave enough $$$ there.
